Ubitech’s online services platform development provides a distribution platform for specialised services, notably in healthcare. Working with specialist game developers and healthcare professionals, the online platform UbiTheraPlay is providing therapeutic patient services for children with motor impairment. The medical gaming platform is for children with neurological limitations affecting motor functions.
Digital, Marketing and Social Media
This category is for businesses who have been innovative and agile in digital, marketing and social media. It is open to individuals, agencies or organisations, of any size, who can prove their campaigns have had a measurable effect.

Winner: Tony’s Fruit Stall
At 3am most mornings, Tony goes to his wholesalers for the best fresh produce he can find. Displaying and selling at Kingston’s Royal Chartered Market, for the local community, he talks daily to his customers who he describes as the best. Tony feels proud, privileged and lucky.
Excellence in Food and Beverage Award
Excellence in Food and Beverage Award will reward food, hospitality and beverage providers who are passionate about delivering quality food and drink, and great service. This category includes hotels, restaurants, pubs, cafes and outside caterers.

Developing Young People’s Skills Award
This award category will showcase organisations that have shown they have a firm commitment to developing the skill sets of young people (under 24 years), to dramatically improve their educational prospects and enhance their employability and life progression.

This award celebrates the achievements of the best, brightest and most innovative new businesses (up to 18 months old) in Kingston.

Running a business can be like a Christmas episode of Eastenders! Plenty of highs and lows and often a drama around the corner! The HR Dept supports business owners to protect their business and resolve their people issues fairly and quickly. They pride themselves on taking the hassle out of HR.
Sustainable Business
The Sustainable Business category is designed to recognise environmental and sustainability initiatives and reward those who place sustainability at the very heart of their business. Sponsored by Willmott Dixon.

Created in March 2019, SunrayRecycle is a 100% volunteer run initiative. They raise funds for the local community as part of residents’ association. They reduce the waste going to landfill or incineration by connecting donors to various schemes locally & nationally. Nothing goes to waste

The winners of the Creative Use of Technology Award will have shown how they have utilised technology to provide an improvement or efficiency in their business, their clients or broader community.
Judging overview
Judges will be looking for a clear description of a creative use of technology, with indication of budget. This may include ‘off the shelf’ products if they have been implemented in a way that is beyond its original intention or creatively utilised to solve a problem or need by the business.

Brodies Dry Cleaners at Ewell Road in Surbiton, provides a dry-cleaning service. They describe themselves as honest, open and the ones, who greet each customer with a smile which leaves them returning. They anti-bacterially clean duvets, bedding, shirts and provide a laundry service wash. They dry clean curtains and garments and provide shoe repairs, garment alterations, rug and leather cleaning service.
Outstanding Business Social Impact Award
The nominees for this award category will show how they have been committed to delivering an outstanding business contributions to the community and will be able to demonstrate the local impact made. This community investment can cover commitment of time, effort and/or money to deliver positive outcomes.

This special category recognises businesses, teams and leaders who have shown resilience, collaboration and adaptation in their business, to persevere through the crisis.
